this would help all photographers, professional or newbies, to be cautious in posting your work on the internet... and this would also remind everyone of "Intellectual Property Rights"...

by the way, what would you do if for example, you provided you photos for publishing, with a promise of proper credit, tapos in the end, wala rin pala.. then you call their attention tapos no actions was made... should you just stop sending you photos to them instead? rather than pursuing a case or formal letters and all the hassle?

happened to me already, pero di naman siya sa magazine or anything. i won't give them photos anymore. the fact that i had to remind them about the agreement and until now, no acknowledgement was made, basically means that wala silang plano mag bigay ng credits. i still have the original photos and they can't say na they took the shots

my photo is in page one of Inquirer today no byline attributed to me. The photo chief (sya yung pinadalhan ko e) was so disappointed and asked for an apology. The caption editor thought it was their file photo. Chief says he asked the editor to issue an erratum.

So I guess, it wasn't intentional but a lapse inside the newsroom.

Hello po sir paul! regarding placing a watermark on our pictures, id like to suggest FastStone Photo Resizer. the software is a freeware that can do batch resizing and simultaneously add watermark or if wala po kaung watermerk, pwede text. exif file intact. the software doesnt eat much resources sa pc if corcernd po kayo sa takbo ng pc po ninyo. you can get it sa download.com
